At MODsocket, we love to help small businesses succeed. It's our mission, our mantra, our forte. In order to do so, we often help with small business marketing, but we also assist with much more than that. Our consultants have years of experience in the advertising and marketing industries, but they also have a breadth of knowledge about business as a whole, including small business operations, structures and processes, sales funnels, client relationships ... the list goes on and on. With this knowledge and experience, our consultants are able to transcend small business marketing and help small businesses improve at their core so they are set up for long-term growth and success.  They each have great tales to tell about their egagement with customers. We'll be sharing many of those stories with you here over the coming months.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As a MODsocket Senior Marketing Consultant, I have worked with a variety of clients in a variety of fields, but this story in particular stands out. The client found us online, filled out a jumpstart form and an initial consultation was scheduled. The company is a caregiving organization with a network of licensed professionals in the Illinois region that puts together programs for adult children of seniors.

The company was celebrating their 25th anniversary in 2014, and they wanted to refresh their image and develop a logo that showcased they were in their 25th year of business. They had a couple of very specific projects in mind:

1.       A label design for the 25th anniversary that they could use on all of their existing stationery.

2.       A revised marketing brochure/ folder with specific inserts to use as a selling aide.

We successfully created both projects using the professional designers and copywriters at MODsocket.

As we built a relationship over the past twelve months, we worked to develop a more focused marketing strategy, including advertising placed in relevant publications and online properties which have a focused audience, such as AARP.com, and certain local publications that are in line with their customer profile (mature adult children that maybe looking for care for their parents.)

We are now working on developing the specific messages and the creative approach that gives them consistency throughout their media spend, sales and marketing materials.

This is a mature company, but they are focused on their business and had not spent much time looking at their image or how to market their business. A full digital marketing strategy was born out of a project that started as purely print related. They are a great group to work with and the results of the rebranding have been very impressive and successful. Just another reason I love what I do!
